“We need to be more grateful. There is no true character without gratitude.  To have feelings of thanksgiving and gratitude for blessings is one of the marks of a strong character. We need more of that spirit in our homes and our daily associations.”

Encourage your friends, family and co-workers to participate!

The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” It was coined from an American Indian expression, Nunc Kee-wanis. Doing what we can, and giving what we have to help others is what we Kiwanians believe in.

Thanksgiving is a time for giving from the heart. It also offers a wonderful opportunity to remember  the things in our lives for which we are grateful, and to practice having what some have called "an attitude of gratitude.” Once we purchase the Turkeys, we will have them delivered to the Midnight Mission in time for Thanksgiving Dinner. We are grateful for this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others!

LA CANADA COMMUNITY MEMBERS GO AHEAD AND BUY A TURKEY TODAY!
