CENTURY CLUB joiners, with a slight "nudge" from our President (53 so far this year) resulted in Tom Slaughter commemorating his birthday, Jay Rabadi his first trip to Alaska, and Sharin Orr her trip to Alaska. PROGRAM: Following a most elegant introduction by Dave Spence, RACHAEL WORBY (degrees from New York plus many challenging and famous Conductorships) beautifully detailed the development of "Building A Child - From the Inside". Why ask a child "What are you going to be when you grow up?"…before the child has any awareness of the options? Listen to the kids' dreams. Rachael grew up in a family with two requirements: brush your teeth and practice the piano. Who you were "on the inside" is what counted. Ms. Worby is fascinating, attractive, extremely capable and interesting. She effectively closed the meeting by leading us in the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. An outstanding program! NEXT WEEK: President Jim Reynolds' "Swan Song" (Kleenex provided) Flag Salute: Bill Scherkey; Invocation: Dick DeGrey; Raffle: Tom Stafford, and Linda Bilheimer.
