– August 5-8 in Las Vegas.

would soon be sponsoring 25 students from
Korea

ages 10-12. Looking
for volunteer families to take in two students each.
President Jim talked about exchange students and what a
great experience it is to share your home with them.

recipient of our $750 scholarship.

Klein from JPL. He
talked about “GAVRT” (Goldstone Apple Valley Radio Telescope )
program. This program
is a partnership with NASA, JPL
and the Lewis Center for Educational Research in Apple Valley.
This provides an opportunity for students and teachers to
join scientists on an interactive science/education team.
