THE PROGRAM
Charles Broberg
and
Glen Pettit
once again put together a great
Clergy Recognition Day.
Charles
introduced the program, and
acted as master of ceremonies. The members of the clergy
represented six denominations, and were assigned a passage from
their holy word to read and use as the theme for their
presentation.

Charles Broberg Introducing Clergy

La Canada Clergy
The main thread that connected each presentation
revolved around the programs they had in their churches for the
children, youth and families. The clergy also addressed the
cultural diversity in our community, and the importance of
nurturing family values. The members of the clergy and the
churches they represent are as follows:
Navid Dehghani
- Baha'i Faith

Rev. Sunny Pak
- La Canada United Methodist
Church

Graham Bothwell
- Church of Christ Scientist of La Canada Flintridge

Rev. Jim Milley
- La Canada Presbyterian Church

Rev. Kristin Leucht
- La Canada Presbyterian Church

Dr. Chuck Osborn
- La Canada Presbyterian Church

Rev. Skip Lindeman
- La Canada Congregational Church

Rev. Bruce Johnson
- Lutheran Church of the Foothills

Rabbi Richard Schechter
- Temple Sinai of Glendale

Aaron Solomon
- Temple Sinai of Glendale

Bishop Glen Colyer
- La Canada 2nd Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints

Brian Palmer
- La Canada 1st Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints

Will Moffit

Levent Akbarut

Charles
closed the program with a story that all clergy could identify
with.
