Windy Smith told members that there are 2 more Wednesday's to
bring in their bags of clothes and food. Tomorrow - She
wants everyone to bring in a grocery bag of canned and dried
foods. She says, "You can do it! And it will make such a
difference in the lives of so many homeless children suffering
because of this recession. It may not be hitting La Canada
Flintridge hard (luckily) but it sure is hitting other areas
quite hard."
Windy says, "So again I say, raid that pantry, pull out all all
the cans and boxes of food you are not going to eat anyway,
gather up some of your old clothes, and bring them to the
meeting. If you want me to collect them from you car after the
meeting just let me know and I will happily come to your car and
get them!"
Windy adds, "I am looking forward to seeing each and everyone of
your smiling faces tomorrow. You have all become such a
wonderful part of my life!"
