THE PROGRAM

Program Chair, Bill Watts, introduced our local Veterinarian, Dr. Woody Walker, who gave a talk on the state of the art of veterinary medicine in the US.  The topics covered in his talk included an update of the few schools in the US and those in the western states, requirements for admission, starting salaries, and the fact that today their are more women vets than men.  Woody also addressed questions from the floor on Insurance for pets, and the status of future rabies clinics (why we can no longer offer clinics to the community).
