Opening song:
God Bless
America,
led by Tom Burrows and Ed Moulton.
Flag Salute: Bob
Martin.
Invocation/Inspirational: Tom Burrows.
Thanks to Tom once more for the great music. Please help me
welcome a friend of the community and fellow Ambassador to the
LCF Chamber of Commerce, Margaret Pankratz, who is here
to thank us for our support of the past Mayor’s Recognition wall
in the Mayor’s
Discovery
Park. Margaret has books for children about the history
of our community that are available at Lanterman House.

As most of you know,
Mary Ann Rebold, from La Cañada AM, visited us last week
to report on a Kiwanis Relief Effort to collect and airlift warm
clothes and other items to Afghan children who are literally
freezing to death. She is here today to pick up what we have
collected and on Saturday she will deliver it to Huntington
Beach Kiwanis where it will be packed then delivered by U.S.
Military Transport.
