Pat Liddell
of the Glendale Club, said that Dee Talley, wife of our
guest speaker, is a life guard and rescued him one time at a
convention when he didn’t have a credit card (left his wallet in
the cab) and she loaned him one to check in to the hotel;

Pat Anderson
introduced Skip Neville, also of the Glendale Club, as
the “mysterious” chauffeur of Santa & Mrs. Claus at the
Festival of Lights.

PROGRAM: Nick
Berkuta
introduced our speaker, Roy Talley, District Pediatric
Trauma Program Foundation Chair, and his wife, Dee.
Roy
joined Kiwanis many years ago and was sponsored by
Dee.
He is very active in various youth organizations. His main
emphasis was on emergency treatment of children and presented a
wonderful video about the program that is in place. Training a
doctor is approximately $100,000 so this is not an inexpensive
achievement, thus, all contributions are appreciated.

Speaker Roy Talley and his wife, Dee
Nick
then gave the coveted speakers Kiwanis mug to
Roy.
Next week’s program will feature Don Mazen, and his book,
“Call Me a Pessimist”.
Closing Song:
“Come on Kiwanis” led by Ed Moulton and Tom
Burrows.
This week’s
editor: Sheree Ingram.
This Weeks
photographer: Paul Westmoreland.
Webmaster and
Coordinator: Jeb Long.
