announced that we will feed the Rose float workers on
December 28th at 6:45 P.M. and the lights at
Glenola Park will be taken down on 1/20/08 at 9 A.M.;
Carl Christensen said that he has a sign up sheet for
the inter-club meeting on 12/29 in Pasadena; Joan Peters
works with the Key Club at Flintridge Prep who have raised
funds to feed needy families and we are going to match them
to the tune of $200; Bachy requested donations to the
Children’s Hospital canisters.

– Dick DeGrey still appreciates phone calls; Jeb
Long’s daughter-in-law, Vikki is doing well and
Hal Thomas is OK and gets to spend a lot of time with
his wife.

do the tent under the bridge for the Rose Float workers

Anderson spoke about the utility poles in the Town
Center area and they will be gone by the end of January and,
the Sewer District 5 proposal has been approved.

introduced Celine Petrossian, Marketing Specialist,
Leonard LaBella, CEO and Dr. Martin Kay,
Dermatologist, all from Verdugo Hills Hospital. Mr.
LaBella spoke for a moment then turned the program over
to Dr. Kay who discussed the negative and positive
aspects of exposure to the sun. He highly recommended you
wear a hat or use sunscreen when outside as various levels
of skin cancer can occur. They handed out brochures and
samples of sunscreen to everyone. Many questions and
concerns came from the floor.
