Challenge Air:
Paul Westmoreland
introduced the program with a brief review of what Challenge Air
does, the Club’s donation and our volunteer experience. He and
Diane DellaValle narrated a side show showing the
planes and participants. Diane acknowledged Bachy
and his Youth Service Committee and all club members for making
it possible to donate $500 to this function. In return, we were
mentioned prominently in all newspapers, radio and TV press
releases and advertising. La Cañada Kiwanis received prominent
recognition at the event, including The Flyer, the
Challenge Air newsletter. We got top logo placement on the backs
of T-shirts distributed to the children and volunteers being in
the company of Southwest Airlines, Sempra Energy, Washington
Mutual, Costco, Starbucks and others. We also received
recognition in The Flyer, the Challenge Air newsletter. Patsy
talked about the children and their handicaps and challenges.

is to observe these relationships.
