THE PROGRAM

The LCHS Key Club had their annual club take-over.  The Key Club Leaders were very articulate and did a great job of informing us of what they experienced at the District Convention.  Five of the Key Club members gave a talk on their personal experiences in the Key Club, and the importance of attending the conventions. One of the young men spoke from his heart and related several experiences that have helped to mold him into a Key Club leader. Two of the Key Clubbers talked about some of the speakers at the convention and the impact that they had on their membership in Key Club.  The Key Clubbers also made it clear how much they appreciate all that we do to help them attend the District Conventions.

Mary Gant had a Happy Buck for all the members who helped set up the Prayer Breakfast this morning.

Daryal Gant had a Funny Buck for the Dinuba newspaper that got readers' attention by printing the front and back pages upside down and the inside pages right side up.  Only in Dinuba!

Clyde had a Happy Buck for all the members who helped out at the Prayer Breakfast.

Linda Magarian had a Happy Buck for Harriet Hammons who just returned from a trip to Africa.  She had another Happy Buck for her vacation trip to Australia.  These gals know how to do vacations.

Howard Backer had Happy Bucks for the time he got to spend with his Grandchildren.  He also took the opportunity to tell a Light Bulb replacement joke.  It needs a little work.

Carl Christensen had a Happy Buck for the UCLA Festival of Books.

Harriet Hammons had a Happy Buck for the Prayer Breakfast.  She had a second Happy Buck for her trip to Africa and all the great wild game dinners she had.

Frosty had a Happy Buck for being able to find a parking place.

Diane DellaValle called Frosty to see if he needed a ride to the meeting, and Fran said that she was the fourth member to call offering to pick him up.  That says a lot about the members of our club.  I feel honored to be a member.
