The Prez sez . . .

The Prez was quiet today, and happy to let the Key Club take the spotlight.

THE PROGRAM

President Melody Chu, Vice President Jill Tahara, Secretary Gina Chang, and Treasurer Lucy Boltz, Officers from the Flintridge Prep Key Club took over the meeting, and did a great job of entertaining, bringing us up to date on all their programs and fundraisers, and creatively collecting fines from our members. As a part of our regular opening ceremony the Key Club Officers lead us in the Kiwanis Pledge and the Key Club Pledge.

Treasurer Lucy introduced Diane DellaValle who presented a check to Flintridge Prep Head Master, Peter Bachmann, to assist in the repairs and/or replacement of the movie screen in the auditorium.

Secretary Gina Chang, an accomplished pianist entertained us with a classical selection.

We were further entertained with a game of Trivia Pursuit which was designed by the Key Clubbers, and a game of BINGO. President Melody presented an update of projects and fundraisers including Travel Adventure refreshments, District Convention, fundraiser to send $1,000 to an animal park in Africa, Adopt-A-Child, March of Dimes, hosting a walk-a-thon with proceeds going to Cancer Research, Pediatric Health Care, training all Key Club members in CPR, and a Powder Puff Football game. As you can see, this is a very busy Key Club. A great time was had by all!
