THE
PROGRAM
Joe Harrington is a storyteller and a poet in the western
tradition. With half his life as a scoutmaster, many of his
stories and poems have been told around a campfire. Joe has a
career as a Media Designer with Walt Disney Imagineering. His
book, Tekoa, is about two seniors at Texas A&M who set out to
discover the secrets of Ghost Lights of Marfa. They encounter
unexpected adventures of the lost civilizations of the Anasazi,
the Nephilimand and the Tekoans. Their courageous journey
illustrates the character of the American spirit as they battle
ancient myths and solve mysteries. Their story is a combination
of scientific fact and fantasy. Joe’s presentation was both
informative and entertaining.
