The Prez sez . . .

“A life not lived for others is not a life.”  John Wooden

*   Our traveling Prez thinks he is happy to be back!  May be we can get him to do a travel log presentation.

*   The Jewel City Kiwanis Club is holding their 13th Annual Classic Car & Hot Rod Show at Verdugo Park,, 1621 Canada Blvd., from 10am to 3:30pm on Sunday, March 19, 2006.

*   Thanks to our President Elect for filling in for me while I was gone!

*   Who knows what day it is?  Following a bit of deliberation, someone finally guessed St. Patrick's Day.  The Prez said that anyone who did not have green on owed the pot a buck.  A few members attempted to establish that St. Patrick's Day was really Friday, the 17th, but the fine remained in force.   Everyone who did not have green on paid up.

*     Next week:  Flag Salute by Mary Gant, and Invocation by
